I was commissioned by Vanity Fair Magazine to illustrate a two page spread for a feature about Jim “Fergie” Chambers. The inspiration for this illustration was Communist propaganda posters and the murals by Diego Rivera. Using information and text from the article, I created sketch compositions that brought together key moments from Fergie’s life. Materials used: Pastel, acrylic paint, and digital painting tools.
